Section 2. Competative Class Preferred Lists
When a layoff occurs, the Employer shall provide to the appropriate bargaining
representative a list of permanent competitive class employees who are on a preferred list
with the original date of appointment utilized for the purpose of such layoff.
A laid off employee who is returned to service in the employee's former title or in a
comparable title from a competitive class preferred list, shall receive the basic salary rate
that would have been received by the employee had the employee never been laid off, up
to a maximum of two (2) years of general salary increases.
