The Mayor's scholarship program is now accepting applications, and the deadline is Nov. 18, 2013. The scholarships are awarded to people seeking degrees in public and urban affairs as well other sectors. Check it out here or email email@example.com.
The court date for tomorrow, Oct. 25, in the Bell/Adams case not a public appearance, but for lawyers in the judge's chambers.
The Union will let members know when the next appearance is.

Due to Delegate Training this upcoming weekend, the Union's office at 817 Broadway will close at 4 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 11. It will reopen Tuesday Oct. 15 and resume normal hours.

This Friday was a good day for Chereece Bell, Damon Adams and all ACS workers. Judge DiMango announced that the Kings County Grand Jury issued a report on ACS and its many problems, indicating that it may impact court proceedings and even may allow the case to be resolved without a trial.
