Printer-friendly versionWithin forty-five (45) days of the receipt by the Worker's Compensation Division of the Law Department of a claim for Worker's Compensation, the City shall notify the claimant of the approval or disapproval of the claim.

Failure to notify the employee within the forty-five (45) day time limit may be grieved at Step III of the grievance procedure without resort to previous steps.
