Printer-friendly versionVoluntary changes from one shift to another shall be made on the basis of greatest seniority in the work location from among per annum employees who are qualified. Involuntary changes shall generally be made on the basis of least seniority of those qualified within a work location; however, if changes are directed out of seniority, such changes should not be arbitrary and capricious. In the event that HRA establishes new shifts, qualified incumbent per annum Employees at the affected work location whose shifts most closely approximate the new shifts shall have, if practicable, priority according their seniority in filling vacancies on the new shift. A complaint with respect to such changes shall constitute a grievance subject to the grievance procedure under this Agreement.
