As dedicated public servants, We know that you have made every reasonable effort to comply with the City's policy.   We recognize the difficulties involved due to hurricane sandys impact on our city.

We commend those of you who have been able to report to your locations or the alternative one.  We understand that one might find it impossible dispite their efforts due to our major transportation shut-down.  Be assured that SSEU Local 371 will advocate for ALL workers whether they were or were not able to report to a location.

Our office at 817 Broadway is currently closed and will reopen as soon as possible.  Meanwhile we are establishing an alternative e-mail, sandy@sseu371.org, to communicate with our members.

This is an extraordinary event. Please exercise the utmost caution and be safe in all your endeavors.
