The New York Post reports that an arbitrator has ruled that [city] workers who didn't make it to the job after the crippling [December 2010 snow] storm were legitimately docked vacation or personal days" if they were unable to get to work.
The Union will update members as the situation progresses.
UPDATE: President Anthony Wells said "I am totally surprised by the arbitrator's narrow reading of the issue. It is a slap in the face to hard working civil servants all over the City. We are going to look at other ways to prove the situation for our members."
