The Negotiations section is responsible for negotiating the Social Service and Related Titles Contract and assists in negotiating other contracts that cover Union members. The section works closely with the Grievance Section and Organization to preserve the rights of Union members. In addition to the several contracts, many policies and procedures govern the jobs of members. Labor- management meetings take place on a regular basis to work out problems in between formal contract bargaining sessions.
