UNION GEARS UP FOR BARGAINING

The Union is gearing up for bargaining on the DC 37 Economic Agreement, which expires on March 2, 2010.  DC 37 Local Presidents met on February 16 and 22 to begin the process of formulating demands for the upcoming negotiations with the City.  The Social Service and Related Titles (SSRT) contract expires at the same time as the Economic Agreement, but bargaining on the unit contract will be done separately.    

Members can participate in the unit bargaining process by submitting proposed contract demands to the Union’s Research and Negotiations section.  Demands should be in writing, and may be submitted by mail to Anthony Wells, V.P. at 817 Broadway, 14^th floor, NY, NY 10003, or by fax to 212-420-1356.
