Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionIf an employee is laid off, on leave, or disabled, and has City contributions for basic health insurance discontinued, the Union may make direct COBRA payments on behalf of such employee to the New York City Employee Health Benefits Program carriers at 102 percent of the group rate for such coverage for a maximum period of thirty-six (36) months from the date of discontinuance.
